Annotation
The article shows that the sustainable development of the HEI depends on digital transformation and the task of the HEI in the era of the digital economy is to implement it, moving from the models “University 1.0” or “University 2.0” to the models “University 3.0” and “University 4.0” and first of all to change processes and strategic values, based on the deep integration of digital technologies and education. In the digital age, the quality assurance system of higher education has changed its goals from unity to diversity, its mission from ranking to early warning, content from decentralization to integration, coverage of assessment standards from stepwise and one-way to the whole process and comprehensively, shifting processes from closed loop to open and these processes are impossible without the comprehensive and integrated implementation of digital technologies. With this in mind, at the Polytechnic Institute of the Tajik Technical University, these processes are implemented using the information management system of the institute, which has been improving for 13 years.
