Annotation

The statistical regularities of the translation into the Persian language of the work of A. Ferdousi are considered. The attempt to establish a statistical relationship between the numbers of word forms and word usage and to compare them with the results obtained earlier for the original work and translation into Russian has been made. There are unexpected coincidences of quantitative patterns characterizing the ratio of the number of word usage and word forms in A. Firdausi’s work in Persian, Tajik and its translation into Russian.
