COMPETITIVENESS ASSESSMENT OF REGIONS OF THE REPUBLIC TAJIKISTAN IN CUT OF TARGET GROUPS OF CONSUMERS

 Annotation

 

 The article provides a critical review of existing methods for assessing the competitiveness of a region. The essence of the concept of “sustainable development” is investigated and the relationship with the concept of “competitiveness of the region” is revealed. Also highlighted their general characteristics. A conceptual scheme for the relationship of sustainable development and competitiveness of the region is proposed. It was revealed that to increase the competitiveness of the regions of the Republic of Tajikistan and ensure their sustainable development, it is necessary to increase the competitiveness of target groups of resource consumers, such as the population, enterprises, investors and tourists. The assessment of the level of competitiveness of the regions of the Republic of Tajikistan in the context of the target consumer groups was carried out.
