Annotation

The article considers the organizational and technical reserves of economic resources during the modernization and use of agricultural machinery. Calculated coefficient technical use of machines and tractors. It is proved that it can be increased by several times, which will allow to achieve a significant reduction in the amount of necessary capital costs for equipment modernization. It is substantiated that it is advisable to direct limited financial resources to increase the quantitative and qualitative potential of labor resources: improving the organization of work of engineering and technical services of agricultural enterprises and improving the skills of their employees. This will allow to implement highly efficient methods of technical maintenance of the machine and tractor fleet and, as a result, reduce the downtime of agricultural machines due to malfunctions. It is concluded that with limited financial resources, especially at the first stage of modernization of cotton production processes, it is advisable to invest them, first of all, in increasing the quantitative and qualitative potential of labor resources and, as a consequence, increasing the shift rate of MTA use. With insufficient financial resources to ensure a phased level of investment, it is advisable to use MTA in two shifts, compared with single-shift use, it allows to increase cotton yield almost twice.
