 Annotation

 

  The analysis of the structure and conditions of the formation of human capital of the Sughd region has been carried out. Was presented the characteristics of human resources and indicators of the formation and development of human capital of the Sughd region, which determine their place in the economic and social aspects of the development of the economy of the region. An assessment is made of the contribution of physical and human capital to the economic growth of the Sughd region. It justifies the need to develop a strategy for the development of society with the strengthening of the role of human capital to ensure sustainable economic growth by choosing the socially-oriented economic development of the region. The paper concludes that in the strategic management of the region’s economy it is necessary to pay more attention to the development of human capital. This requires government support for the development of the program and the concept of the formation and development of human capital. To ensure the sustainable economic development, it is necessary to define a new strategy for the development of society with an increasing role for human capital. In this case, it is appropriate selection of socially oriented path of economic development.
