Annotation
The article analyzes the possibilities of using sources of distribution generation, shows the energy potential of the Republic of Tajikistan. Has been detailed assessment of the hydropower resources of the Republic of Tajikistan is given. The solar potential and prospects of its application as a source of electrical energy are determined. Has been analyzes the possibility of using wind energy, depending on the region and the republic of relief. An experience of foreign countries such as Holland, Denmark, USA, Norway on the application of sources of distributed generation and the concept of the term “distributed generation”was provided. The reasons for the introduction of distributed generation systems in the Russian Federation are given. The generalized structure of the electric power system with small distributed power plants is given. Features of the functioning of electric power systems with sources of distributed generation, such as the mechanism of transmission and distribution of electric energy, characteristics of the electric modes of the electric power system, the variety of generation technologies used. Has been analyzed the advantages and disadvantages of local energy sources in the Republic of Tajikistan on the basis of renewable energy sources such as wind, solar and water resources.
