Annotation

The article presents the results of a study on the assessment of integral indicators of socio-economic development in order to improve the quality of life of the population in relation to the Sughd region of Tajikistan. The integral indicators of the quality of life of the population are divided into three blocks: the economic potential of the region, the quality of the population and the welfare of the population. Also, the dynamics of socio-economic indicators of the Sughd region and the Republic of Tajikistan for 2016-2020 was calculated and an integral indicator of the quality of life was estimated. It is determined that the standard of living of the population of the Sughd region is higher than in the Republic of Tajikistan, but, in turn, there are some shortcomings that need to be addressed. From the analysis and evaluation of the integral indicator of the quality of life of the population of the Sughd region and the Republic of Tajikistan, it can be seen that the integral indicator of the quality of life in the region is 17% higher than in the country. In general, in the block of the economic potential of the region, the indicator of innovative development has a small contribution. It is necessary to take urgent decisions and measures to develop this sector. It was noted that the Government and relevant departments are making efforts to achieve the state goal of improving the level and quality of life of the population.
