Annotation

 

 The article is devoted to the analysis of the processes of formation and development of e-government in Tajikistan. An overview of the formation and development of e-government in the country is presented. It is believed that e-government is a qualitatively new method of public administration based on modern information and communication technologies. It includes the interaction of the state and market entities based on the development of conditions for democratization and the active involvement of citizens in decision-making. The reality of modern economic development shows that the world is in a state of transition to the use of technologies that ensure the rapid processing of information, the immediate implementation of management decisions, the achievement of greater access and public participation in public administration. Therefore, one of the determining factors in this direction is the introduction of e-government. It is concluded that in order to increase the efficiency of the process of formation and development of e-government in Tajikistan, the following measures are necessary: a set of measures to increase the awareness of the main subjects of this sphere in local governments; providing conditions for increasing the efficiency of educational activities of higher educational institutions for the training of high-level specialists; achievement of a high level of scientific potential in the field of ICT in the country, etc.
