Annotation
The article provides a detailed analysis of the operating modes of the energy system of large pumping stations that are used for irrigation of agricultural land. The main reasons for the failure of the electrical equipment of the pumping station are identified. It has been established that the most difficult mode of operation of the power system of pumping stations is the starting modes of pumping units, where there are significant increases in current and load in the engine. Starting currents, first of all, negatively affect the technical condition of the motor windings of pumping units and increase the risk of failures and accidents in the station. In addition, the work carried out studies of the main factors affecting the stability of the energy system of pumping stations. The study revealed significant negative effects on the stability of the power system during the start-up of electric motors, which cause voltage dips in the network. Voltage dips formed during the start-up of large electric motors of a pumping station affect the operation of neighboring units, and even the units of pumping stations located quite far away. Such a state requires a more detailed analysis of the electromagnetic compatibility of electrical receivers of the power systems of irrigation complexes in terms of mutual influences on technical and technological processes.
