TRANSIENT PROCESSES IN THE POWER SYSTEM OF AN IRRIGATION PUMPING STATION WHEN DIRECT STARTING LARGE UNITS
Authors
Abstract
The article is devoted to the study of the starting transient processes of the electric drive of powerful pumps of irrigation pumping stations during the direct start of pumping units, taking into account its impact on the power supply system. For this purpose, the article analyzed the structure and elements of the power system of an irrigation pumping station and, on the basis of this, a computer model of the general power system was developed. The developed computer model is aimed only at studying the direct start-up modes of powerful units of irrigation pumping stations. The scientific novelty of the work lies in the fact that the developed computer model allows one to simultaneously study transient processes in the electric drive and in the power supply system of the pumping station. This makes it possible to obtain more voluminous scientific results, and conclusions and recommendations will become more accurate. The simultaneous study of two subsystems of any large system is considered a complex scientific and technical task.
