Authors
Abstract
The article discusses topical issues related to defining the concepts of innovation and innovative activity in enterprises, as well as the signs of its presence, which are an important factor in increasing production efficiency. It substantiates the process of creating and implementing new ideas, technologies, products or services with the aim of increasing the competitiveness of the enterprise, which contributes to the development and implementation of product innovation. The relationship between competitive positions, enterprise efficiency and innovation potential is analysed. The percentage share method is used to justify the effectiveness of innovative products. Issues related to the implementation of product innovation and the effectiveness of innovative product development are examined using the example of the Farovon enterprise and the Nuri Khovar factory in the city of Istiklol in the Sughd region of Tajikistan. The results of the analysis of product innovation implementation at these enterprises show that profits from the sale of innovative products tend to grow steadily, and that the total profit from the sale of innovative products accounts for a significant share of the enterprises' total profits. An assessment of the impact of innovative activity on the efficiency of an enterprise's operations shows that the production and sale of innovative products leads to a stable upward trend in profits, attracts new customers, increases sales volumes and opens up external markets.
