Abstract

The article is devoted to the analysis of methods for assessing competitiveness at the level of industrial enterprises in the region. It examines the importance of using both quantitative and qualitative indicators to determine the level of enterprise competitiveness. Modern assessment approaches are analyzed, as well as models and analytical methods such as the calculation of a coefficient based on a competitiveness criterion, the index evaluation method, the polygon method, and the Rosenberg model. This allowed for the substantiation of the methodology for applying the "evidence-based competitiveness polygon" method. Key factors important for the main consumers of products are justified, including: environmentally friendly and modern products, brand popularity, transportation capability, pre-sale preparation, warranty service, pricing policy, material incentives for buyers, and the location of sales. Based on these factors, an assessment of the product competitiveness of the manufacturing enterprise LLC "Javonī" was carried out. In order to analyze the position of the manufacturing enterprise under conditions of increasing competition, the current economic activity of the light industry sector in the Sughd region of the Republic of Tajikistan was studied. The generalized evaluation indicators were compiled into the evidence-based competitiveness polygon, which allowed the identification of existing problems. The research results can be used to develop strategies for regional industrial development and to strengthen the competitiveness of enterprises.
