INTEGRATION OF TRADITIONAL AND INNOVATIVE METHODS OF INVENTORY MANAGEMENT IN COMMERCIAL ORGANIZATIONS

The article discusses the key principles of inventory management, their impact on the efficiency and financial performance of the organization. The author analyzes traditional, modern and innovative methods of inventory management, highlighting their advantages and disadvantages. Particular attention is paid to the digital transformation of management processes, including the use of ERP systems, artificial intelligence, and Internet technologies to optimize warehouse operations. The most common analytical techniques, such as ABC analysis and XYZ analysis, are described, along with their principles, implementation stages, and practical application for inventory classification and demand forecasting. Using the example of the SugdNeft enterprise, an ABC analysis of product categories was conducted to identify key groups that generate the majority of revenue. The integration of ABC analysis into Power BI as a tool for improving operational efficiency is considered separately. It is shown that the integration of ABC analysis into the Power BI system provides automation, visualization, and rapid decision-making. Algorithms for implementing analysis in Power BI are considered, including data preparation, calculation of key metrics and visualization of results. The use of analytical tools allows for improved supply planning, minimized costs, and increased profitability. The approaches presented are recommended for implementation in retail and distribution organizations to achieve a sustainable competitive advantage.
