Abstract
The authors analyze the role of finance in the context of digitalization, paying particular attention to the development of social spheres and improving the well-being of the population. In the current context of the Republic of Tajikistan, where the primary goal is to ensure sustainable economic development, reduce poverty, and improve the well-being of the population, the issue of the effective formation and use of budgetary funds is particularly important. The state, as an economic entity, plays a key role in shaping the funding mechanism for social services. This article analyzes key social indicators and funding trends in education, healthcare, and social protection in the Republic of Tajikistan. The focus is on the impact of funding on social sectors, living standards, and the improvement of social conditions. The authors describe the current state of social sector development in the context of digitalization and analyze the role of funding in improving the well-being of the population. Analysis of the key indicators demonstrates that in recent years a significant share of public financial resources has been allocated to the development of the social sectors. The volume of funding for the social sector has increased steadily, reflecting the government's strong commitment to addressing social issues and contributing to improvements in the population's standard of living.
