Annotation
The article provides a comparative overview of different models of text meaning representation, describes ways of evaluating their parameters and the quality of the results. It is emphasized that the transition from the space of terms to the space of found topics helps to resolve the synonymy of terms as well as to solve such problems as thematic search, classification, summarization and annotation of collections of documents and news streams more efficiently. It is noted that in the context of the development of global networks, as well as technologies for creating intelligent systems, the relevance of research aimed at automatic data processing, and above all – to various types of semantic text analysis, is increasing. Semantic analysis of the text allows you to extract information about facts, key concepts and their relationships, with the subsequent presentation of the material in the form of a structured semantic description in a certain way. In conclusion, it is noted that the construction of a semantic description of the text can solve many practical problems, including: semantic search, identification of facts in which specific key concepts take part; natural language text processing in content management systems; checking student answers in knowledge control systems when using an open testing form. Such tasks are characterized by the need to compare two texts with each other for semantic correspondence, taking into account predicative relations in the text.
