Annotation

        The article deals with the development of computational linguistics in Tajikistan. It is noted that computational linguistics is a branch of applied linguistics in which computer tools, namely computer programs and technologies, are used to process data to design a natural language for solving various problems. For languages that have many users, such as English, Russian, Arabic, scientific research is supported and implemented by large companies. But for the Tajik language, which does not have a large number of users, supporting basic research is not economically viable for large companies. In this regard, within the framework of scientific projects, scientific and practical research and background information on the automation of the Tajik language are being carried out. The paper describes the methods and modules of automatic data processing systems based on the use of global requirements in the field of computational linguistics for the Tajik language. An analysis was made of the works of scientists who made a huge contribution to the development of this science in the country. A long-term plan for the development of new projects to promote computational linguistics was discussed, which make it possible to develop the study of the Tajik language using the capabilities of computer technology.
