Annotation

Methods of water sampling and their preparation for analysis in laboratory conditions using modern high-precision instruments are given. The results of the analysis of river water for the presence of heavy metals, data on the physicochemical parameters and the degree of water pollution on the example of the Syr Darya River located in the Sogd region of the Republic of Tajikistan were evaluated. In the monitoring frameworks, the qualitative and quantitative indicators of water are summerized and compared with the normative indicators. The averaged data obtained show that, in all parameters, the quality of the Syr Darya water meets regulatory requirements.
