The article analyzes the features of the use of modern information technologies in modeling economic processes. The possibilities and problems of computer modeling in economic processes are justified, among which the most significant is the problem of introducing a continuous refinement mode when receiving output data, as the main financial indicators, temporal and spatial characteristics and risk parameters. On the example of the hypothesis of the influence of supply and demand on the dynamics of market equilibrium prices, computer modeling was performed in the MATLAB / Simulink system, the simulation results were obtained in the form of graphs and diagrams. A comparative characteristic of the obtained results with the regularity of the properties of the selected modeling object are given. Promising areas of the use of computer modeling in the economy are proposed. The conclusions that using this model you can conduct experiments, containing complex or in-depth character study. The simulation results show the high efficiency of using this research method in economic processes, which in turn open up new prospects and possibilities for using computer modeling in this area to solve various problems.
