STUDY OF TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF AUTOMATIC SWITCHES OF DIFFERENT MANUFACTURERS

Annotation

 

 The article presents the results of a study of the dependence of the value of active power losses in circuit breakers on the main parameters of the equipment. It is noted that the share of losses in the total cost of the electricity transmission process is significant. Therefore, for the energy efficient operation of in-plant power supply systems, it is required to maintain a rational ratio between the cost of losses and the total consumption of electricity. The main features of mechanical, chemical, thermal and electrical processes occurring in the areas of contact between the surfaces of contact connections of electrical devices are considered. The parameters that determine the value of power losses and power consumption in low-voltage switching equipment are analyzed. The features of the characteristics of the topology and technical condition in the conditions of operation of the equipment of intrashop low-voltage networks of industrial power supply are shown, the account of which is necessary for the analysis and evaluation of power and electricity losses in such networks. Analytical expressions are given for the dynamics of power losses in automatic machines of some manufacturers depending on the rated current. The dependences of the change in power losses per pole on the rated current are determined as functions that have the smallest standard deviation. Graphic dependences of the studied parameters of low-voltage equipment are revealed. A comparative analysis of the technical characteristics of the automata showed that their main parameters have similar values, but there are differences in the values of active power losses per pole of the apparatus.
