Annotation
The article is devoted to the current problem of the use of water resources, as well as the labor resources of Tajikistan and their impact on socio-economic development on the example of mountainous and foothill areas. Close attention is paid to the issues of natural and climatic features of Tajikistan, as well as considerable attention is paid to the social sector. It is proposed to solve problems in the Republic of Tajikistan, such as the provision of hot water supply to nearby settlements, the organization and development of greenhouse and greenhouse farms, the further development of sanitary-resort hydropathic clinics, etc., using an increase in the effective use of mineral waters (Khoja-Obigarm, Anzob, Obigarm, Sharshar, Garmchashma and many other sources). An analysis was made on the norms of water consumption for the Re-public of Tajikistan. The idea is substantiated that demographic policy can influence the dynam-ics and trends of ongoing social processes not directly, but through the behavior of individuals, families or groups of people. The reasons for the transition to commercial structures of most organizations in the field of social services are considered. The article reveals the problems of water consumption standards for the Republic of Tajikistan and the possibility of its provision by the state. Based on the study of the state budget of the Republic of Tajikistan, the amount thatwill go to the development of the social sphere has been determined. The article sums up some results of the study that the indicators of science depend not only on the results of the scientific achievements of famous scientists and inventors in the country, but, first of all, on the state of the existing education system. The idea is substantiated that the main problems in the field of education are the lack of teaching staff and their very low wages. It is noted that an important branch of the social sphere is healthcare, where by pursuing an effective policy in the field of prevention, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation, the state receives economic efficiency, which can be assessed using certain public health indicators. It is shown that the solution of problems in healthcare is not limited to material values. They also cover other aspects of well-being, in particular, the level of health status of the population and the availability of medical services for the majority of members of society.
