FACTORS OF DEVELOPMENT OF THE INDUSTRY OF THE SOGDIN REGION OF THE REPUBLIC OF TAJIKISTAN

Annotation

 

  Industrial development is a key source of economic development, whether at the regional level or at the state level. Regarding the topic, a large number of studies have been conducted by foreign scientists, near foreign scientists and domestic scientists. In some cases, a brief summary of their work has been used. The state of the industry at the level of the republic is briefly presented, and the shortcomings of this industry are noted in accordance with the Na-tional Development Strategy of the Republic of Tajikistan for the period up to 2030. After that, the current state of the economy of the Sughd region of the Republic of Tajikistan was dis-cussed. When showing the current economic situation of the region, the following main indica-tors were analyzed: gross regional product (GRP), share of GRP in the total volume of gross domestic product (GDP), population of the region, GRP per capita, local budget income, amount of direct investment, the average volume of retail trade, the dynamics of foreign trade (exports, imports), the number of enterprises, the volume of industrial products, the average annual number of industrial and production employees, the growth rate of the total volume of industrial products. Factors affecting the development of the regional industry are presented, and their role in the development of this industry is shown. Such main influencing factors are considered by the authors: economic, institutional, scientific-technical, geographical, demo-graphic. In the economic factor, points of economic development are discussed. In the institu-tional factor, mutual cooperation between institutions is seen. The importance of scientific-technical progress is explained. The beneficial location of the Sughd region is explained in the geographical factor. As we know, no industry can progress without the demographic factor, this issue is also under discussion. The effect of each factor was noted and analyzed separately. It is particularly important to show the main factors that have a great impact on the development of the industrial sector of the region, which will lead to the development of this sector, and this will lead to the development of the economy of the region.
