Annotation
This article presents the calculation of investments in overhead power lines, taking into account the location of overhead power lines. In particular, an increase in electricity consumption in supply and distribution networks leads to an increase in current in cables, which negatively affects the reliability of power supply, the quality of electricity, and the amount of power and electricity losses. With a decrease in reliability indicators and the appearance of power and electricity losses in high-voltage supply and distribution networks, power equipment failures and practical shutdowns of important facilities occur. The main purpose of financing the reconstruction of power transmission lines is explained. The reasons for using new generation cables are explained and the world experience of their application is presented in full. This article presents the characteristics of composite wires, which are widely used abroad, showing their advantages and disadvantages. The mechanical and electrical characteristics of these wires, taking into account their cost, are shown in detail in comparison with conventional AC cables. The main organizers of capital costs are also shown with the values of overhead power line elements, investments in construction and installation works, power and electricity losses, average recovery time, parameters, the number of accidents was calculated for each option during use. The analysis shows that although the investment in new generation cables is high compared to traditional cables, the capacitance and power loss in this type of cable is small. The results of the study showed that in the conditions of the Republic of Tajikistan, the use of new generation wires helps to increase the reliability of the power supply system, reduce power losses and increase the throughput of overhead power lines. With the gradual introduction of new technology, on the one hand, the level of losses will decrease, and on the other hand, it will be possible to provide consumers with high-quality electricity.
