Annotation
The article examines the growth of no-load losses of transformers during the period of operation. Some of the main reasons for the occurrence of no-load losses in power transformers are considered, the basic formulas for calculating no-load losses are selected and specific data on losses in the transformer during their use for certain periods are considered. The results of experimental studies carried out at JSC “Togliatti transformer” are presented, where the technical parameters of transformers of the AORCT brand were measured, the service life of which was 18 years. Experimental studies have shown that transformer aging leads to an increase in no-load losses, sometimes very, very significant, depending on the operating conditions of the transformer and, especially, the quality of its repair during operation. It was found that power transformers during the period of operation increased no-load losses by 5.65-6.25%. It is concluded that the reduction of electricity losses in transformers of distribution networks can be achieved both by reducing no-load losses by replacing underloaded transformers, and by reducing load losses by optimal rearrangement of transformers.
