Аnnotation
The current state of Tajikistan’s energy system is considered in the given article.. Its consequences were analyzed as a result of power generation capacities in the country, low-energy power capacity of the republic, insufficient interconnection between central power plants with NOB-24 (“Friendship of Peoples”). Measures to solve the current problems of the energy sector of Tajikistan: reducing the short power line, the potential of transit power from the center of the country, the construction of a number of hydroelectric power stations in the Zarafshon River, connecting the energy systems of neighboring countries to the point of view of system stability was made.
