Annotation
Considered the essence and content of the effectiveness of the quality management system (QMS) of the services of higher educational institutions (Universities) of the region. The main functions of the quality management of educational services are considered. The actual problems of evaluating the effectiveness of the university service quality management system are justified. The analysis of performance indicators of the QMS of educational services has been carried out. Grouped existing methods of a number of authors to assess the effectiveness of the QMS. The methodology for assessing the effectiveness of the QMS of a university is justified, which, unlike existing methods based on the principle of compliance with the rules, is based on the principle of compliance with the requirements of the economy. The latter is determined through the interaction of subjects of the labor market and the market for higher professional education (HPE). The subjects of the interaction of the labor market and the HPE market are ranked according to their importance.
