REGIONAL MANAGEMENT AS A FACTOR OF ITS SOCIO-ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT

Annotation

 

 The article presents the results of the study of the essence and factors of socio – economic development of the region, where one of the most important factors is the quality of regional management. The scheme of management of the executive power of the Sogd region of the Republic of Tajikistan is given. The socio-economic indicators of the region are analyzed. The analysis showed that the majority of regional authorities of CIS countries function based on linear-functional management system, while at the same time utilization of project management structure promotes the dynamic development of the region and improvement of its socio – economic situation in the country. It is characterized by flexibility, relatively low costs, as it is based on the temporary redistribution of material, labor and information resources to solve a specific strategic problem. This management structure is used in most developed countries and their regions. It is stressed that the effective management of the region depends on the continuous activities of economic entities, updating the social and economic sphere of the region, which are aimed at improving the well-being and quality of life of the population in accordance with modern social needs based on the rational use of resources and taking into account territorial characteristics.
