The article considers the issue of improving the quality of electricity, especially the reduction of voltage on the windings of asynchronous motors, the consequences of voltage fluctuations in the engine depending on the technological process and its impact on the product. The factors influencing the voltage deviation are analyzed. The consequences of the voltage deviation were studied in the example of an engine type AIR160S2. The dynamics of changes in the rotor speed of asynchronous motor depending on voltage deviation is demonstrated. The dynamics of the rotational frequency change of the rotor of an asynchronous motor depending on the voltage deviation is shown. Engine service life is calculated depending on the voltage deviation, given in the form of tables and diagrams. It was found that when the voltage drop to one percent, the service life of the engine is reduced by seven percent. Deviation of voltage from the nominal value has a negative impact on the operation of the engine, can even reduce its service life, negative voltage deviation up to 10% reduces its service life to 54.95% of the nominal value.
