ASSESSMENT OF INNOVATION ACTIVITY OF AN INDUSTRIAL ENTERPRISE
Authors
Abstract
The relevance of the study is due to the need to increase the innovation activity of small businesses in the context of increased competition, limited resources and accelerating technological development. The article presents the results of a comprehensive assessment of innovation activity of an industrial enterprise. In particular, the influence of quantitatively measured and expertly assessed factors of external and internal environment on the innovation activity of an industrial enterprise is taken into account, which makes it possible to obtain a more objective picture of the innovation system development. To improve the accuracy of the analysis, expert assessments are assigned weighting coefficients, which provide the possibility of their integration into a single model. The proposed methodology is adapted to assess the innovation system of a small enterprise for the production of bakery products in Sughd region, taking into account the fact that there are only three main blocks in its structure: production-technological, personnel and financial-economic. It is revealed that the innovation system of industrial enterprise in Sughd region in the context of bakery production was formed in stages, starting from the production and technological direction, and then expanding through the development of human and financial potentials. Such a process reflects the logic of formation ‘from bottom to top’, where the technical base became the foundation of all innovation activities. The results can be used in the development of strategic plans for the development of industrial enterprises, improving their innovation policy and the formation of effective management models, as well as in the creation of programs of state support for small and medium-sized businesses. In addition, the methodology can serve as a tool for regular monitoring of the innovation potential of enterprises in dynamics, as well as for making informed managerial decisions in an unstable environment.
