Abstract

The article examines the theoretical and practical aspects of reforming the educational sector of the Republic of Tajikistan in the context of enhancing its effective interaction with the labor market. The analysis focuses on the dynamics of public spending on education, the education index, and wage levels of employees in the education sector, identifying key factors constraining the development of the industry. Particular attention is paid to the issue of staff turnover and the impact of low wages on the sustainability of the education system. The results of the study show that funding trends indicate a gradual strengthening of the role of education in the country's economy and the state's desire to ensure sustainable development by expanding investment in human potential. The authors reveal that the highest level of staff turnover is observed in the education sector, driven by low wages and limited social incentives. For the effective functioning of the education services market and its sustainable interaction with the labor market, not only an increase in funding but also systematic reform of human resource management in the education sphere is required. The results obtained confirm that comprehensive modernization of the education sector is a key condition for improving the quality of human capital and ensuring sustainable development of the national economy.
