Abstract

The article explores the possibilities of using health information systems for automating vaccination registration in the Republic of Tajikistan. The relevance of the topic is related to the need for digitalization of processes in the field of public health, which will increase the efficiency of monitoring and prevention of infectious diseases. The author analyzes the theoretical foundations of digitalization of vaccine prevention, including the principles of electronic immunization records and data integration. The current state of the vaccination record system in the country is examined, key shortcomings are identified, such as data fragmentation, manual data entry, and limited access to databases. International experience in implementing electronic immunization registries in countries with developed digital infrastructure is presented, including examples from Asia, where such systems have contributed to reducing errors and prompt response to epidemics. The advantages of automated registration are highlighted: acceleration of data processing, increased accuracy, improved accessibility of services for the population, and integration with telemedicine. The main problems are discussed, including technical barriers, data confidentiality, and shortage of qualified specialists. In the future, the development of national information platforms using modern technologies for forecasting and optimizing vaccination campaigns is proposed, which contributes to strengthening public health in Tajikistan.
