Annotation<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

  The existing classifications of approaches to definition of the concept «region» are considered in the article. The identifying signs of the existing approaches, such as territorial, econom-ic, social and administrative are investigated. The analysis of the content of definitions of the concept «region» in the context of a sustainable development is carried out, and the author’s interpretation of concept is offered. The standard paradigms of the region from a prism of a sustainable development are investigated.<\/em><\/p>\n
