\u00a0 \u00a0 A mechanism for smoothing the spatial polarization of regions by means of the entry of the national economy into an integration association is defined. Factors have been justified and the impact of the <\/em>r<\/em>epublic accession process to the<\/em> Eurasian Economic Union <\/em>(<\/em>E<\/em>EU)<\/em> on its macroeconomic indicators in the short and long terms has been assessed: the change in the foreign trade regime within the framework of a single foreign trade policy towards countries that are not members of the integration association; Simplification of the procedure for the implementation of export-import transactions by goods and services within the framework of the E<\/em>EU<\/em>; Increase in budget revenues from foreign economic activity due to changes in the structure and size of the foreign trade turnover between the participants; Decrease in the aggregate demand of the population. Thus, it can be concluded that the economic consequences of the accession of Tajikistan to the E<\/em>EU<\/em> can be both positive and negative.<\/em><\/p>\n
