Energy saving is proposed replacement of old equipment to energy-saving technologies. For each individual feeder supplying one or more switchboards (or busbar assemblies), losses for typical daily loads (average daily losses) are considered. For the workshop electric network of individual blocks of busbar sections supplying electric motors, circuits for determining the equivalent resistance and its equivalent circuit are drawn up. For a more accurate calculation of electricity losses of individual feeders, methods are proposed for determining losses by the equivalent resistance of the desired section of the workshop network. Moreover, we consider branched shop electrical networks affecting the configuration and the design features of all sections of the distribution network. Determining energy losses in workshop networks, the workload of the workshop for work shifts of day and night shifts was taken into account. The value of currents in the busiest shift is selected according to the readings of the counters per day, which is determined by the value of the consumed electricity of the work shift.
