The article discusses the concept and purpose of a financial strategy, the need for its development in the organization’s activities and the stages of developing a financial strategy. The possibilities of using financial strategy in the organization’s activities have been substantiated: general and financial implementation of long-term goals of economic and social development of the organization, evaluation of its financial capabilities, determination of priorities of the organization’s financial activities in comparison with other organizations and deep interrelation between strategic, current and operational management of the organization’s financial activities. The significant difference between financial strategy and financial planning is defined as the use of key data from the analysis of trends in the market environment, i.e. the implementation of the planning process «from future to present».<\/em><\/p>\n
