Annotation
The article deals with the theoretical aspects and practical measures of applying the methods of transliteration of the text in the Tajik language. Problems that require correct transliteration are discussed. Сonsidered the tasks that require the use of correct transliteration. Discussed methods for transliterating text from Cyrillic to Latin. The set of written means of transliteration of the alphabet of the Tajik language into the Cyrillic alphabet of the Russian language and the Latin alphabet of the English language. An algorithm and a package of programs for transliteration of the text in Tajik with the support of international standards are proposed. It is emphasized that when writing scientific papers and organizing a list of sources used, one of the mandatory requirements of international scientific journals is the inclusion of a bibliographic list written in Latin. The proposals of such a list expand the readership for familiarization with the sources used in the preparation of a scientific article. It is noted that the solution to the problem of transliteration is to represent the symbols of one script with the symbols of another, while maintaining the possibility of obtaining a symmetrical inverse script. The use of a strict sequence of characters or combinations of characters solves the problem of converting a different number of characters in the alphabets of the two writing systems. The main goal is to provide an automatic and unambiguous recreation of the original. Transliteration, or text transformation, must return the original text based on approved transliteration standards, which define the rules for replacing characters. The results of the study are published in the form of a demonstrative web application, which is available on the Internet at www.tajlingvo.tj\transliteration.
