Annotation
The article explores the positive and negative trends in the impact of digitalization of the economy on the labor market on the example of individual post-Soviet countries. The methodological approaches to the definition of the concept of “digital technologies” are listed. It is noted that the impact of new digital technologies leads to a qualitative structural change in the labor market. As a result, a digital economy is being formed as one of the subsystems of the traditional economy. In the context of digitalization, the transformation of the entire economy, including the labor market, is taking place and causes changes in the field of employment of the population, the emergence of new labor relations. A review of the concepts of digitalization and the digital economy, as well as its impact on the state of the labor market, is made. The transition to digital technologies leads to a partial replacement of existing professions with new ones, which creates certain difficulties and increases the vulnerability of the labor market. The most important task of solving existing challenges in the labor market is the coordinated actions of the state, employers and educational institutions for the training and retraining of personnel. To neutralize challenges in the labor market, it is necessary to prevent risks and threats. In conclusion, it is noted that the increase in labor productivity characteristic of most foreign countries due to the introduction of digital technologies is sometimes debatable for post-Soviet countries.
