TECHNICAL AND ECONOMIC JUSTIFICATION OF IMPLEMENTATION OF SOFT STARTING SYSTEMS FOR HIGH POWER ELECTRIC MOTORS
Authors
Abstract
The article develops a methodology for conducting a feasibility study of
the use of soft start systems in high-power electric motors. For this purpose, studies and cal-
culations were carried out in accordance with the energy balance algorithm in installations
and statistical data analysis. The feasibility of a feasibility study of soft start systems for
high-power electric motors is shown using the example of large pumping stations in the
Sughd region of the Republic of Tajikistan. A methodology has been proposed for determin-
ing the economic efficiency of soft start systems for high-power electric drives. Determining
the economic efficiency of using soft starters is still a difficult task, since its solution re-
quires taking into account many influencing factors. This condition creates a lot of difficul-
ties for developing a methodology for determining the economic efficiency of using soft start
systems for high-power electric motors. The proposed methodology for determining the eco-
nomic efficiency of such systems is based on well-known methods and simplifies the calcula-
tion process, and also complements the base of theoretical scientific knowledge on this topic
