METHODOLOGICAL APPROACHES TO ASSESSING INNOVATIVE DEVELOPMENT OF INDUSTRIAL ENTERPRISES IN THE REGION
Authors
Abstract
The article discusses methodological approaches to assessing the innovative development of an enterprise, the implementation of which contributes to the expansion of economic opportunities, increased production efficiency and the strengthening of competitive positions. It shows the evolution of the essence of innovative development of an enterprise and methodological approaches to its assessment from single quantitative methods to multifaceted analysis. Based on the study and critical analysis of existing methodological approaches, a grouping of approaches with a similar methodological basis was carried out. Among the methodological approaches considered, the one that most fully reflects the picture of innovative development of industrial enterprises in the region is the integrated approach. When using this approach in the process of assessing innovative development, both quantitative and qualitative indicators of the activities of industrial enterprises are taken into account. An integral part of the integrated approach is the method of calculating the integral index of innovative development, which allows for a comprehensive assessment of the level of innovation of an enterprise using key areas such as the share of innovative products, the number of implemented technologies and patents, the level of investment in R&D, the degree of interaction with scientific organizations, human resources, etc. Using the method of the integral index of innovative development, an assessment of the innovative activity of one of the leading industrial enterprises of the region, Farovon LLC, was carried out. The assessment revealed a high level of innovative development based on the use of a systems approach in modernization and the creation of new production technologies.
