Annotation

The article considers the issue of ensuring the reliability of distribution networks, the length of which in the power supply system of the Sughd region is very large. The description of overhead power lines is given. The main factors influencing the reliability of distribution networks are described, their classification is carried out. The construction of overhead power lines has been analyzed. Statistical data on accidents on each individual element for ten reporting years and the main reasons for the failure of overhead power lines are given. The relative frequency of occurrence of various types of short circuits in electrical networks is shown and analyzed. The efficiency indicators of overhead transmission lines with a voltage of 10 kV are described and calculated. The functionality and malfunctions in the electrical network are studied. As an example, the reliability of a 10 kV transmission line without switching devices and with switching devices is analyzed. Reliability trade-off schemes are shown in both cases, and non-transmitted electricity in these networks is calculated and compared
