MODERN APPROACHES TO ASSESSING THE LEVEL AND QUALITY OF LIFE OF THE POPULATION

Annotation

 

 The territories of developed countries are distinguished by population density, the degree of concentration of labor resources of various qualifications, various shares of the disabled population in total numbers, housing conditions, social and transport infrastructures, environmental parameters, etc. This all effects for the choice of place of residence and work. Despite the large differences in geographical, climatic, socio-economic and other parameters, they strive to create conditions within all business entities that are most comfortable for living and working. All countries use their own tricks and methods, set their priorities. This is all considered and reflected in the activities carried out within the framework of socio-economic strategies for the development of territories and the formation of the competitiveness of the business entity as a whole. The practice and theory are developed and used a variety of approaches to assess the effectiveness of the implemented measures and the feasibility of the selected goals and objectives. Among these approaches stand out are those which are based on the level of research and quality of life. In calculatig these indicators, all spheres of society’s life are taken into account as much as possible, which helps to assess what advantages a particular territory has in comparison with other business entities in terms of human residence and work, as well as what weaknesses exist in the socio-economic concept of regional development.

The work is carried out based on the task on fulfillment of government contractual work in the field of scientific activities as a part of base portion of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation to Perm National Research Polytechnic University (the topic №26.6884.2017/8.9 “Sustainable development of urban areas and the improvement of the human environment”).
