MODERN TRENDS IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF REGIONAL LABOR MARKETS AND VOCATIONAL EDUCATION IN TAJIKISTAN

Annotation

 

   The effectiveness of regional labor markets and vocational education in Tajikistan plays an important role in providing the economy with highly qualified personnel. In this regard, the article aims to analyze the trend of the socio-economic development of the Sughd region through the prism of the functioning of labor markets and vocational education. The development of the labor market is analyzed on the basis of the dynamics of the number of employed, vacant jobs, the number of unemployed, and the number of employees by form of ownership. The trend in the functioning of the vocational education market is studied using indicators of the number of educational institutions, the number and output of students by education level. It was revealed that there is a structural disproportion in the labor market, training of personnel for industries where there is an overabundance of labor continues. It is argued that the labor market of the Sughd region is in a state of continuous change, the needs of the sectors of the economy are changing: in the professional and personnel structure and in the levels of training of specialists. It has been proved that sustainable socio-economic development of the region requires an adaptive system of education that responds to the demands of the labor market, stimulating economic growth, reproducing professionals who can work effectively in a competitive economic environment.
