METHODS FOR ASSESSING THE INNOVATION POTENTIAL OF AN INDUSTRIAL ENTERPRISE

Annotation

 

    The article discusses the main stages of the formation of innovative potential enterprises and considers the process of modeling of the evaluation of innovative potential enterprises. The purpose of the article is to identify the main stages of the formation and development of an assessment model of the innovative potential of an enterprise. This will help to organize the monitoring system of the innovative potential level of enterprises and forecast its level in the case of introducing innovations. A method based on the statistical indicators of the economic system was used, which makes it possible to evaluate the innovative potential level and calculate the characteristic value of its components. Using of an integral indicator allows to obtain a single indicator characterizing the level of innovative potential of the enterprise. The article proposes a model for assessing the innovative potential of an industrial enterprise. The model was tested in the example of a real industrial enterprise. The results have been obtained, indicating that the level of innovative potential at the researching enterprise is at the middle level, but is tended to decrease. It is noted that the enterprise has all the possibilities for the implementation of innovative activities, however, this aspect of development is not given due attention. Factors that restrain the development of innovative potential at the enterprise have been identified. Among them: weak financing of researching activity, a weak personnel development system, low efficiency of marketing activity, etc. Experiments were conducted using the model. The results of the experiment showed that the proposed model can be applied to predict the results from the introduction of innovation at the initial stage.
