 Annotation

     The article presents the general results obtained during the automation of document management in a university based on the information management system of KPITTU. The development of modern society is associated with an increase in information flows, which leads to an increase in document flows. The solution to this problem in the organization can be the introduction of electronic document management, therefore, the effectiveness of management and paperwork is associated with the need to switch to electronic document management. Speaking about efficiency in management and paperwork, more and more questions arise about the need for a transition to electronic document management. Electronic document management is a system of working with documents based on internal regulations, a unique nomenclature of cases, these documents are created, executed and stored electronically. The article presents the general results obtained in the automation of the document flow of the university on the basis of the information management system. Describes the functionality of the system based on the conceptual scheme of document flow in the university. And also, the proposed multi-module system architecture is described with a brief description of each module in KPITTU. And also the main tasks that the DMIS pursues are: ensuring effective management and transparency of the organization’s activities at all levels, accumulating information, managing data and regulating access, formalizing the activities of each employee, optimizing business processes, saving resources by reducing the cost of managing paper documents.
